SORANG JE?

aku tabik dengan orang yang mampu pergi tengok wayang sorang-sorang.

bila aku dapat tau kawan aku baru balik dari tengok wayang sorang-sorang...dua dua buat muka pelik.

aku buat muka "eehhhh" kat dia......"ko tengok wayang sorang sorang JE?"

dia plak buat muka "asal lak???" kat aku......"kenapa? tak boleh keeewww?"

hahahaha...

aku tau...cukup loser diri ku ini...masih tidak boleh mengatasi konsep tengok wayang sorang-sorang ni...taklah se-pathetic mana...

i cringe even imagining this scenario:

"cerita ape cik?"
"avengers please. show pukul tiga."
"berapa orang."
"sorang."

sorang. sorang? SORANG? SORANG? SORANG? SORANG JE?

hahahahaha...

well...this topic popped up masa aku, mama and kak long otw balik dari konsert najwa kat MPO. sementara tunggu mama, kak long and haz hais tengok konsert...aku duk lah melilau from floor to floor kat klcc tuh...

jalan jalan bangang dalam shopping complex pon aku takleh buat sorang.

aku masuk dua kedai je...kino and uniqlo. each for just 5 minutes.

aku tak reti nak window shopping sorang2. and i hate that.

"Aku tak leh ar jalan sensorang kat dalam shopping complex...ko bleh ke long?"

"ntah...aku ok je..."

"ahh...ko takde perasaan...hati kering..."

aku end up pegi dome.

ha...tang minum2 or makan2 sorang2 wa no hal...hahahahaha...mungkin sbb aku leh occupy diri aku with some readings kot...

mama plak menyampuk...

"oh...mama plak kalau pegi kedai makan...tak reti lah sorang sorang...kalau bejalan tu mama ok..."

pulok doh!

pass kat ayah jelah

After a few years…ko sangka moments like that dah takde lagi dah…as in…you know…macam tak tak ada efek kat atas diri ko lagi…hahahahaha…lanc….

Moments like that…it never leaves you actually…when you are least expected…boom! Dia datang balik…you thought you can be all cool and coy…nah…you are wrong…
She – this dear friend of mine – could not be at home on time to meet me…I have some things to pass to her…and so she said…

“ko pass kat ayah jelah b barang tu…”
“ok.” I said.
“aku kol ayah skang k.”
“ok.” I said.

And so I went…bagi salam…
Ayah dia keluar…not expecting me to arrive as soon as he hung up agaknya…I could see he just threw his batik shirt and hastily buttoned it up…

A bit of pre-amble…yadda yadda…then im gone…kejap je…pass barang je pon…

But it’s more than that…

There’s this thing about father figure kan…ayah-ayah ni memang ada paten diaorg yang tersendirilah…not just the round belly…scruffy face…hehe…
……………………………..adalah……………………………

But seeing him coming out from the house…her daughter’s house…the fact that he has been staying with his daughter for a few days now…spend time…chatting…eat together…ride on the same car…breath the same air…

I don’t know…I might be talking rubbush here…

I just miss my dad that’s all…

Mulalah fikir all the things yang aku tak sempat buat dengan ayah…mulalah fikir yang bukan bukan…

man the ride home was tough…

luar tak hujan…dalam kereta yang hujan.
Father figure…never fails to kill me.
Balik rumah…ape aku buat?

Ambik wudhuk…solat asar sudah…

API! API! API!

I refuse to did not see myself as a drama queen, much to the objection of my close friends…I often thought my other friend would be aptly named as a drama queen instead of me…

Let me just describe this dear friend of mine as Ipoh born and bred…

*waive at her* then *run*

May be this event cemented the title onto my name…Just for the record, this emergency-worthy incident took place years ago when I was a student, renting with some other very dear dear friends.

This other friend of mine is very meticulous. Suffice to say, she even iron…erm…her T-shirt.

So, there she was, routinely ironed her tudung. The rest of us went about doing our own thing around the house…I think, altogether, there were five of us. I was, I think, sitting on the floor, quite close to where she was ironing, reading, I think.

Then, suddenly, the IRON CAUGHT FIRE. It caught fire at the connection between the iron’s body and the wire. She let out a small cry (not dramatic at all this friend of mine…more logical and practical). With a house as big as a chicken coop, her faint cry caught our attention.

At the speed of light, I stood up, faced the burning iron, flapped my hand like a chicken, and loudly yelled “API! API! API! API! API! AAAA! API! API! API!”

Needless to say, after I lost my breath yelling for help like a damsel in distress, the atmosphere became calm and quiet. All eyes were on me. Another more collected and calm friend just poured a glass, yes, just a glass of water onto the burning iron and the fire ceased. On the other hand, my logical and practical friend, still standing at the same spot, was seen dabbing her slightly burnt hand, and obviously was taken aback at my method of looking for help.

I blurted out: “Aaa…nasib baik…dah…padam.”

My other less sympathetic friend said: “Ko ni kenapa? Tak pasal pasal satu blok ni belari kuar kang…”

It didn’t stop there… “Ko punya jerit…memang macam satu blok nilah dah tebakar…”
